Malia Furtado to Circa Blue

Event Details

Malia FurtadoWest Virginia’s Circa Blue has announced the addition of Malia Furtado on fiddle. She will also share in the vocals with the band.

Malia has played fiddle since she was a young girl, and worked with her family’s band as well as All 4 Hymn, Blue Light Special, Driving Force, No Speed Limit and Heather Berry. She has just returned from 3 years doing volunteer work in France, and is happy to be playing music again.

The band is fronted by Steve Harris on guitar and vocals, with Ron Webb on mandolin, and Matt Hickman on banjo. They are using a number of different bassists at this time.

Circa Blue is staying busy, and getting ready for IBMA just like all the rest of us.
