Hinson Girls to Wilson Pickins

Event Details

The Hinson GirlsMelanie Wilson has announced the signing of The Hinson Girls to her Wilson Pickins Bluegrass Promotions agency.

The four sisters from Lancaster, SC pick and sing contemporary bluegrass and Gospel music. They have been performing together on the circuit since 2009, and as they have grown into their late teens and early twenties, they have begun to establish a reputation for their entertaining stage show.

Katelyn is the youngest and plays mandolin and sings the lead. Her twin sisters Melissa and Allison play bass and banjo respectively, with big sister Kristin on guitar. The Girls have three albums out to date, with the newest, A Life That’s Good, just having been made available to bluegrass radio through Airplay Direct.

You can get a feel for their sound in this cover of Alison Krauss’ Everytime You Say Goodbye, recorded at SPBGMA last year.

The Hinson Girls join The Edgar Loudermilk Band featuring Jeff Autry, Branded Bluegrass, Kristi Stanley, Wilson Banjo Co, Tyler Williams, Kim Robins, Shannon Slaughter & County Clare, and Greg Moore at Wilson Pickins. You can find out more about all these artists by visiting Melanie online.
