Are you the next ToneSlabs endorsing artist?

Event Details

ToneSlabs

Boutique pick makers ToneSlabs are hosting an online flatpick guitar competition to select one exceptional picker to join them as an endorsing artist and brand ambassador.

ToneSlabs manufactures and markets high end flatpicks in a variety of sizes, thicknesses, and substance, with an obsessive attention to material, shape, bevel, and feel. Since being introduced four years ago, these picks have found favor with professional and serious amateur players in bluegrass, Americana, country, rock, and jazz communities.

Noted bluegrass mandolinist Frank Solivan, co-owner of ToneSlabs with partner David Welch, invites fellow tone-meisters to enter to potentially win an Artist Package from the company.

“We’ve always believed that the right pick in the right hands can change the way a player hears themselves. This contest is our way of finding a player that gets it — someone who doesn’t just play well, but who lives and breathes tone the way we do.”

The Artist Package offers a full, one-year endorsement deal, including premium ToneSlabs picks, a curated collection of official accessories, brand merchandise, and signature pick design possibilities. The new Artist will also receive dedicated social media features and performance opportunities, and exclusive beta-testing access to unreleased materials, experimental shapes, and new prototypes. You will help the team by testing new products.

To enter, simply record a video of yourself playing and post it as a Reel to Instagram, tag @ToneSlabs, and add ToneSlabs as a collaborator. Then email a copy of your video to [email protected], along with a brief personal statement explaining why you would be a good fit as an endorsing artist. Two or three sentences are sufficient..

But act fast, as the contest is only open until April 1!

The winner will be announced on April 16 on the various ToneSlabs social media channels.

Full contest details can be viewed online.
