New band for Junior Sisk

Event Details

Junior Sisk

Traditional bluegrass legend Junior Sisk has introduced a new band, as his current touring band, now also performing separately as Red Camel Collective, will be going wholly on their own later this year.

So Junior has brought on a new bunch of pickers to get him through this year, and the 2027 Junior Sisk & Friends Farewell Tour as he heads into retirement.

The new group includes Carter Lester on banjo, Sam Zolla on mandolin, Mason Wright on fiddle, and Gabriel Hebert on bass.

Red Camel Collective is on a tear in their rising career, with a number of hit songs on the chart this past year. Led by Heather Berry Mabe on guitar and lead vocal, the group also includes Tony Mabe on banjo, Johnathan Dillon on mandolin, and Curt Love on bass.

You’ll still see them with Junior until later this summer.

Here’s a live video Junior shot with his new bunch to show that it’s the same traditional bluegrass sound we all love.
