Gravy Records has released a new single for Blue Ridge Gathering, a neo-traditional old time trio from Knoxville, TN.
The band is made up of Jessica Watson on banjo and guitar, Duck Ryan on guitar and banjo, and Cody Bauer on fiddle. Their trio is supplemented by Vince Ilagen on bass.
This latest song is one written and sung by Jessica, You Don’t Believe in Love, with a familiar refrain of romantic disappointment when one person is ready to give all, and the other simply isn’t. The Gathering delivers the track with a nice swing twist, with Watson on guitar and Ryan on banjo, singing in duet.
