WAMU’s Bluegrass Country will once again be broadcasting live from IBMA for several hours each day. Most of your favorite on-air personalities are in Nashville this week, and the Bluegrass Country steam will go live from the 4th floor of the Renaissance from 3:00-6:00 p.m. (EDT) each day (Mon-Fri).
The live spots will feature artist interviews and impromptu performances, and if past years’ experiences serve as a useful guide, they promise to be fun and frivolous as well as serious and informative. Everybody’s in the IBMA spirit!
We’ll publish the Bluegrass Country schedule each morning for those who can catch the live stream online.
Here’s Monday’s line up:
Time | Guest | Host |
3:00 PM | Kati Penn & Newtown | Lee Michael Demsey |
3:30 PM | Kym Warner | Jerad Walker |
4:00 PM | John Hartford String Band | Jerad Walker |

WAMU is also recording all of the performances at the late night Emerging Artists showcases put on by Mast Farm Inn. They will be broadcast on Bluegrass Country at a later date.
