Tour dates for Punch Brothers and Noam Pikelny

Punch Brothers have announced a string of dates in November opening for legendary pop singer/songwriter Paul Simon. The tour starts in New Orleans on the 4th and wanders through the central US for the rest of the month.

And following this run, Punch banjo man Noam Pikelny will spend December touring in support of his his upcoming solo project, Beat The Devil and Carry A Rail. Joining Noam will be Aoife O’Donovan (vocals), Gabe Witcher (fiddle), Chris Eldridge (guitar), Jesse Cobb (mandolin) and Mark Schatz (bass). The album is due to drop October 25 on Compass.

The Pikelny tour features a number of radio shows up front, followed by stops at familiar acoustic venues and intimate club settings…

…while the Punch Brothers/Paul Simon shows are scheduled for large areas:

  • November 16, i wireless Center, Moline, IL
  • November 18, Fox Theatre, Detroit, MI
  • November 19, Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium, Columbus, OH
  • November 20, Indiana University Auditorium, Bloomington, IN
  • November 22, Bank of Kentucky Center, Highland Heights, KY
  • November 23, EJ Thomas Performing Arts Hall, Akron, OH
