Tom T. and Miss Dixie go Knee Deep in Bluegrass

The next edition of Cindy Baucom’s Knee Deep In Bluegrass will focus on Tom T. and Dixie Hall, celebrated songwriters whose commitment to bluegrass of late has been widely reported. Not only have they written dozens of songs recorded by bluegrass artists, but they actively promote these artists and songs – and have made a very generous donation of future royalties to the IBMA.

Cindy visited with the Halls at their home and recorded a lengthy conversation which will form the outline for her syndicated radio show this week. All of the music played on the program will be from the Halls, with each framed by comments from the songwriters. Featured music comes from Alecia Nugent, Don Rigsby, IIIrd Tyme Out, Paul Williams, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver and more.
