The Nedski-Mojo CD

Event Details

Ned Luberecki and Stephen MouginWe’ve got news that The Nedski-Mojo Show recently exited the studio after completion of tracking for a new album featuring the songs they’ve been performing on tour.

The song list includes “a pile” of originals from Stephen Mougin (who normally works with Sam Bush), and a number of “funny tunes” (Ned says his tunes aren’t “funny” Mojo!) written by banjo picker Ned Luberecki. Ned regularly performs with Chris Jones, and spends part of his time as a host on the Sirius-XM Radio bluegrass channel (Sirius channel 65, XM channel 14).

The pair has been performing together this fall as The Nedski-Mojo Show, utilizing the multi-instrumental talents of both musicians, along with comedic sensibilities of Luberecki.

Their performances regularly include instructional workshops covering various instruments and even vocals.

Speaking of which, Stephen Mougin’s production company, Dark Shadow Recording, is offering a holiday special on their Learn to Sing Bluegrass Harmony CD series (see our review). The set of both baritone and tenor CDs can be had this holiday season for only $19.95. This combo is normally priced at $25, so that’s a good discount and they would make great gifts for the bluegrass singers in your life. So would a trip to see The Nedski-Mojo Show so be sure to check their limited tour schedule for the remainder of the year.

If all else fails, pick up the CD when it comes out early next year!
