We just heard from Graham Sharp, banjo player with Steep Canyon Rangers, with word about Steve Martin appearing on ABC TV this evening, close on the heels of he and Steep Canyon being chosen as 2011 Entertainer of the Year by the professional voting membership of the IBMA.
“Steve asked me to pass along that he’ll be featured on tonight’s ABC News with Diane Sawyer, and plans to talk about the IBMA and bluegrass in general, as well as plugging his new movie. If anyone wants to tune in it should be on about 6:30 p.m. EDT.”
