Recording King RD-10

The Recording King brand, part of the Music Link family of Asian-made musical instruments, has consistently sought to produce better-than-average banjos and guitars at prices accessible to students, and those with limited resources for an instrument purchase.

The introduction of their RD-10 model dreadnaught guitar at the Summer NAMM Show this week in Nashville gives them an all-solid wood guitar with a street price under $350. It features a Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides. The neck is mahogany as well, with a rosewood fingerboard.

According to the company, their goal with this model was to reduce the ornamentation found in their other dreadnaught (RD) series guitars, while still offering solid wood construction and their limited lifetime warranty.
