Phil Leadbetter update

A very encouraging note from Phil Leadbetter…

“I just finished my 6th round of chemo which will complete my cycle. I will have a PET Scan on Oct 24th. That will show where we are with the cancer. This will be my 3rd PET Scan, and the previous 2 have both shown improvement. I’m hoping this one will show that I’m in remission.

If not, we will be looking either at more chemo, radiation, or a bone marrow transplant. I have done pretty well overall during my 6 months of treatment. I have been unable to pick, so I sure have missed that. I am really looking forward to getting back. I’m hoping to be done with the chemo so I can.

I sure appreciate all the support and prayers from all my friends out there. I never got rich playing bluegrass, but the friendships I have are beyond value. If I could put a price on that I’d be a millionaire. Thank you all so much and God Bless each and every one of you.

Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers, and please do the same for Hershel and Joyce Sizemore.”
