Newest citizen of Monroeville

We just heard from Matt Munsey, mandolinist with Monroeville, with some very happy news.

He and his wife, Juliana, are celebrating the birth this morning of their daughter, Liliana, their first child.

Needless to say, Matt is beside himself…

“Her name is Liliana Joy Munsey. She was born at 8:42pm central on February 8, 2011 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She weighed 7lbs and 1/2 ounces, and is 19.5″ long. We chose the name Liliana Joy because her mother’s name is Juliana Joy.

Her labor was brought on by induction at 10:00 a.m. The labor was quick for a first timer!

We are so thankful for everyone’s prayers and support! God has blessed us with a healthy and beautiful baby!”

Here is a video of Matt and his Monroeville buddies with a fun twist on a pop song that was big long before any of these boys were born.

When we examine the web stats for Bluegrass Today, we consistently see our strongest traffic in the US, Canada, Western Europe and along the Pacific Rim. Maybe this is just the ticket for expanding bluegrass music in the Spanish-speaking world!
