My Life’s Gonna Be Sunshine from Charlie Albertson

Event Details

Charlie Albertson

Charlie Albertson is a real North Carolina character.

Singing his original bluegrass and gospel music across the state for years, he is known as “The Singing Senator” for the 18 years he served in the North Carolina State legislature, from 1993 to 2010. Prior to that, he was a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives from 1989 through 1992. He’s no stranger in the Tar Heel state.

Now at 94 years of age, Charlie has a new single to share, another he has written called My Life’s Gonna Be Sunshine. It’s an upbeat, positive song produced by Wanda Vick with assistance from Darin Vincent.

If you just need a ray of sunshine of the bluegrass variety, give this one a listen. Anyone who knows Charlie or has seen him perform over the years will surely get a kick out of this single.

Check it out.

My Life’s Gonna Be Sunshine is available now from popular download and streaming services online.
