Radio Bluegrass International (RBI), a project of the International Bluegrass Music Museum in Owensboro, KY, will feature Lonesome River Band on this weekend’s edition of the Best Of Bluegrass.
The show, hosted by Bob Mitchell, runs each Friday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. (EST), repeating on Sunday afternoons from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Bob tells us that the boys stopped by the museum not long ago, and performed a number of songs live in the studio, which Bob will include in two separate segments of this week’s show.
To listen live online, just visit the IBMM site at www.bluegrassmuseum.org, and then click on the RBI logo in the upper left, either Friday (9-11 a.m.) or Sunday (4-6 p.m.).
Folks in the Owensboro area can also hear the show over the air on WKWC FM 90.3 on Saturday morning from 7:00-9:00 a.m. (CST), which is also streamed live online.
Whichever of the three airings you might catch, you’ll be sure to hear music from the most recent LRB release, Still Learning, and hear a bit of what LRB is up to these days.
