Lotsa bluegrass on Blue Plate today

Blue Plate Special, which airs weekdays at noon on WDVX in Knoxville, has a heaping helping of bluegrass in store for today’s (8/20) show. In fact, there is so much music that they have extended today’s program to 2 hours.

Featured performers include Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers, and an all-star bluegrass band including Terry Baucom, Darrell Webb, Phil Leadbetter and Matt Wallace.

The show will also continue this week’s focus on The Indiegrrl Music Conference & Festival going on in Knoxville with performances from Suzi Ragsdale, Karen E. Reynolds and Vicki Genfan.

Blue Plate Special can be heard at noon (EDT) in the Knoxville market at 102.9 FM, or online via live streaming at www.wdvx.org. Should be a good’n.
