Like A Hawk from Chris Jones & the Night Drivers

Chris Jones & the Night Drivers -photo by Paul EstesChris Jones has released a new single from his current project, Live At The Old Feed Store.

The song is Like A Hawk, one Chris wrote and recorded previously for his 2006 album, Too Far Down The Road. It’s a bluesy number about a dangerous woman, in the fashion of the Flatt & Scruggs classic, Sleep With One Eye Open.

Jones is assisted, as always, by his crack band, the Night Drivers. Ned Luberecki is on banjo, Mark Stoffel on mandolin, Jon Weisberger on bass, with Chris on guitar and lead vocals. They put together this photo video to introduce the single to anyone without a copy of the album.

The single (and the album) is available for purchase from Chris’ web site. Radio programmers may download a copy from Airplay Direct.

Look for The Night Drivers to head into the studio next month to complete their first album for Mountain Home Music.
