Larry Stephenson under the knife

Larry Stephenson after carpal tunnel surgery with his daughter, FalonLarry Stephenson will be spending his Thanksgiving week learning how to eat left-handed.

He recently underwent surgery to deal with a nagging problem which he is hoping will now be resolved, taking him out of action for several weeks.

We’ll let Larry tell the tale…

“I had carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand November 17th –  just had the bandages removed this morning. At this time Dr. Siegel says everything is looking good. We’ve had this time off the road so I thought this would be the best time for this. It’s been hurting me for a number of years, I’ve had two shots over the years but the shots wear off. It’s still going to take a little time to completely heal but I can tell a big difference every day. Thanks to everyone for there thoughts and prayers and all the messages to my website and Facebook page. You know I’ve got to keep that chop good and strong!

We’ve had a great year and 2010 is looking even better….keep looking for our 20th Anniversary CD on Pinecastle Records with Dailey & Vincent, Ricky Skaggs, Connie Smith, Marty Stuart, Del McCoury, Dale Ann Bradley, Dudley Connell and many more.

Dreama and Falon are doing great. We’re looking forward to spending Thanksgiving in Rocky Mount, VA with Dreama’s family….and man can her family cook! I plan on eating everything!

Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
