Kel Kroydon introduces affordable banjos

We posted last month about plans for American Made Banjo Company to launch a new “affordable banjo” series, starting with a pair of new models in their Kel Kroydon line.

At that time, they had no photos to offer, which they have now remedied with a gallery on Facebook, and a pair of YouTube videos featuring banjo whiz Ned Luberecki putting these banjos through their paces.

Here’s Nedski on the KK-Standard Banjo, which sells for $2,239.

  • For the record, I am actually a Deering Banjo endorser. I am not a Kel Kroyden endorser, nor do I own one of their banjos. I was simply hired by the American Made Banjo Company to record demos of their new affordable banjo series. I do, however, also play a banjo that was custom made by Robin Smith (who builds the Kel Kroyden banjos).

  • Thanks for the correction guys. 🙂
