The John Cowan Band will be performing live today (4/2) on Blue Plate Special, which airs on WDVX from Knoxville. The show airs at noon (EDT) and you can catch it over the air in and around Knoxville at a02.9 FM, and via live streaming online.
Normally Blue Plate features a pair of acts that share the one hour broadcast, but John and his merry band get the full 60 today.
Touring with Cowan are Jeff Autry on guitar, John Frazier on mandolin, Shad Cobb on fiddle and Bryon Larrance on percussion. John, of course, is on bass guitar and lead vocals.
