Glenn Gibson comes off the road

Glenn Gibson has announced he will not be continuing as resonator guitarist with Marty Raybon and Full Circle in the 2010 season. He had worked as a member of Full Circle for well over a year and can be heard playing his Harlow Resophonic guitar and singing harmony on certain cuts in Marty’s latest album This, That and the Other.

In the first quarter of 2010 Glenn will be releasing his first solo project. Friends who are appearing on the album include Michael Cleveland, Jesse Brock and Daniel Grindstaff. Original compositions will make up almost the entire album with Glenn featured on resonator guitar and lead vocals.

Over the years he also served as a side man for Dale Ann Bradley (and can be heard on her Catch Tomorrow CD) and with Karl Shiflett and Big Country Show.

In the interim, Glenn is accepting studio and road work. He also mentioned that he is giving reso and banjo lessons in the Louisville, KY area, and can be reached by email or phone (502-448-2708).
