Front Page Bluegrass launches radio service

Prescription Bluegrass has launched a 90 second weekly bluegrass news program, offered via syndication to any radio programmers who want to keep their audience abreast of what’s going on in the bluegrass world.

It will be voiced by Brian McNeal, host of the Prescription Bluegrass show, and a long-time veteran radio broadcaster. His news show will be called Front Page Bluegrass, and will be released each Monday starting January 3, 2011 through Audio Tracks Broadcasting Services.

There will be no contractual agreements required to carry the show, which McNeal says is targeted at that segment of the bluegrass audience who don’t keep up with the fast-paced online world.

“There are plenty of ways for folks to find out what’s happening on the Internet with blogs and email alerts, but it was hard to find something specifically tailored for bluegrass radio broadcasts. This is really a service for those bluegrass radio listeners who don’t keep up with things like the Internet and its blogs.”

The sample Front Page Bluegrass segment on McNeal’s site is crisply-delivered in a headline news format. Interested programmers are invited to contact him by email or phone (928-727-0722) for more details about carrying the new show.
