Forums at Bluegrass Today

I can be something of a language bore, and it simply offends my sensibilities to type the word “forums.” I can hear my dearly departed mother, a life-long English teacher, correcting my usage: “The plural of forum is fora!”

But this newfangled way of creating plurals is here to stay – spellcheck doesn’t even catch it. So if I mention “fora,” an awful lot of folks won’t know what I’m talking about. I guess I have to accept it, though I still draw the line at “verbing.” ( spellcheck catches that one – shudder)

I say all that to bring up this… we have been negligent in reminding our readers that we have a number of discussion forums here at Bluegras Today. In particular, we have revived the very popular discussion group, Bluegrass Rules, which ran successfully for many years before being folded into our site last year. It is meant to be a wide-open discussion of all things bluegrass, and we invite everyone to check it out.

Anyone is welcome to peruse the forums, but you’ll need to register with Bluegrass Today to start a new thread or share your own comments. That is quick, easy and completely free.

Go here to view the forums main page, here for Bluegrass Rules, and here to register with us.

We want to hear from you, and please… tell a friend!
