The Gospel Music Association, presenters of the annual Dove Awards, have announced the institution of a new award category, Bluegrass Gospel Song of the Year.
As such, they are requesting that any bluegrass artists who have a song fulfilling their eligibility requirements to please submit it for consideration.
Those requirements are:
- The song must have been released between May 1, 2025 and April 30, 2026 or…
- The song must have been serviced to radio or digital service providers between May 1, 2025 and April 30, 2026
Songs can be submitted by contacting the GMA by email ([email protected]).
New Day Christian Distribution has also agreed to assist any artists, regardless of label status, to get their music submitted. Simply contact Caroline Leonard at [email protected], and she will help.
The deadline to be considered for the 2026 Dove Awards is May 5, so time is short. You do not need to be a GMA member to have a song considered for nomination.
Nominees are typically announced in late July.
The 2026 Dove Awards show will be held October 26 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
