Carol Beaugard has an interview scheduled this morning with mega-picker Bruce Molsky on Lonesome Pine RFD. He will join Carol at 11:00 (EDT) on WFDU.
Carol will highlight music from Bruce’s 2006 Compass release Soon Be Time, plus earlier recordings which showcase his wide-ranging skills on fiddle, banjo, guitar and vocals. They’ll also discuss his recent European tours with Brittany Haas and Paula Bradley in Sweden and appearances with Vasen in Norway, collaborations with Darol Anger and more. Molsky is a much sought after banjo and fiddle teacher and they’re sure to also talk about his work at various music camps around the country.
