Bluegrass Calendar returns for 2011

The Bluegrass Calendar is back!

After a break this year, Gary Reid at Copper Creek Records has a new calendar for 2011. This 20th anniversary edition features those great Reid favorites, the Stanley Brothers.

As usual, there are the birthdates of literally hundreds of bluegrass performers and personalities, and the dates of important milestones in bluegrass history. Every month features a striking photograph, each from an assortment of pictures of the Stanley dynasty and extended musical family, including the brothers, Ralph Stanley, Jeanie Stanley Allinder (Carter’s ‘baby girl’), Ralph Stanley II, Nathan Stanley, George Shuffler, Larry Sparks, and the Clinch Mountain Boys.

As a bonus, the purchaser of the calendar will be able to download a new song each month, all from a CD of previously unreleased music by Ralph Stanley.

For further information and to order a copy of the calendar, which sells for $9.95, visit the Copper Creek website.
