Tim Stafford wrote in to tell us that the Grammy nominations are out. Category 43 Best Bluegrass Album (Vocal or Instrumental) is the one that interests us. Here’s the list of nominees:
- Marbletown – Blue Highway [Rounder]
- Cherryholmes – Cherryholmes [Skaggs Family Records]
- The Grascals – The Grascals [Rounder]
- The Company We Keep – The Del McCoury Band [McCoury Music/Sugar Hill Records]
- Ragin’ Live – Rhonda Vincent And The Rage [Rounder]
That’s quite a sampling of great bluegrass music. Looks like our genre is well represented this year (as always). Good luck everyone!
