Americana Music Awards on NPR

NPR and Folk Alley have posted the audio from the 2010 Americana Music Awards show online. The 2.5 hour show, hosted by Jim Lauderdale, includes the presentations of awards, and musical performances by artists from a wide range of musical genres.

You’ll hear young Sarah Jarosz singing the title track from her critically-acclaimed CD Song Up In Her Head, black stringband revivalists Carolina Chocolate Drops, traditional country maven Wanda Jackson, and a duet by Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell among the musical offerings.

The NPR site also has more than a dozen photos from the event. Check it all out online.
