This is the first time I heard the awards show. I am disappointed that Mr. Crow made such a scene and his personal concerns of integrity somehow got more important than a nice finish to the joy and artistry of the show itself. Also, if there was only one song played in tribute to our service personnel …it should have been done by the Navy band. How weird it would have been to hear the Navy band play only nonpatriotic songs while other bands saluted our military personnel. Get real. Be thankful that the Navy supports and promotes bluegrass music through Country Current. I know I am glad about it because I want to hear more bluegrass played not less.
