Plant-Krauss II in the works

Event Details

Alison Krauss and Robert PlantNashville radio station WKDF is reporting that former Led Zeppelin vocalist and current Alison Krauss duet partner Robert Plant has rented a home in Nashville and is working on a follow-up with Krauss to their hugely successful Raising Sand CD.

The possibility of a second Plant/Krauss collaboration has generated a great deal of speculation, and is sure to disappoint both Zepp fans hoping for a reunion and AKUS fans longing for a new band project.

From the WKDF web report…

“We’ve got a whole bunch of songs, and we’re just going, ‚ÄòDoes that work and does that work?'” Plant told the United Kingdom’s Absolute Radio. “So we’re trying it out again.”

One possible title being floated right now is ‘A Gated Community’, as “it’s like being in a looney bin,” Plant said. He also added that they were nowhere near a final decision on the title.
