Del on Letterman with PJHB

Event Details

Tonight’s (7/19) edition of the Late Show with David Letterman will include a joint performance by The Del McCoury Band and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

The two groups are doing some limited touring to promote their new project, American Legacies, which blends Preservation Hall’s New Orlean’s style jazz with Del and the boys’ unique bluegrass sound. They have a show on Wednesday in New York City and are stopping in at Letterman’s show tonight.

Here’s a taste of the music on American Legacies, and what you can expect to hear on TV this evening, in a promotional video about the new album.

Catch The Late Show tonight at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT. Musical acts appear at the very end of the one hour program.
