On Thursday Oct. 27th from 2:15 – 4:30 PM, I’ll be hosting mentoring sessions at IBMA on the topic of Internet Marketing. The other mentor for this topic is Jane Grimes from Echo Music. The mentoring sessions take place in the Nashville Convention Center rooms #108/109. Sign up for the session begins Wednesday morning (Oct 26) at 8 AM in the Convention Registration area. Appointments are made on a fist come, first served basis.
This is the first time I’ve done a mentoring session so I’m not quite sure what to expect. The letter I received after agreeing to participate says:
Attendees wishing to make an appointment to meet with one of the following experts in the music industry for advice in their specific fields of expertise may sign up…Mentor Sessions are intended to be a time for advice on a particular topic, not a business meeting.
Basically the way I understand it is that convention attendees sign up for a 20 minute appointment to sit down with Jane and myself and then ask for our advice and input on the topic of Internet Marketing. Sounds like fun. Hope to see you there.
