Joint anniversary concert during IBMA week

Event Details

2012 is a big year for two of bluegrass music’s top acts. It marks 30 years together for Lonesome River Band, and 20 for Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out.

Since IBMA week in Nashville brings such a large percentage of the bluegrass industry and community together in one spot, Moonstruck Management, who represents both bands, has scheduled a special anniversary show for Wednesday September 26. It will be held at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, located on Broadway just steps from the Nashville Convention Center.

Food and a cash bar will be available at the show.

Tickets are being offered now ($15 seats, $10 standing), and are expected to sell out quickly.

For World of Bluegrass attendees, it is always tough to choose which events to hit from among the many possibilities, but for fans of LRB and 3TO, this one should be a no-brainer.
