Event Details

All The Way To Bethlehem - Donna UlisseDonna Ulisse is to play on WDVX’s Blueplate Special on Friday (9 November) from noon to 1:00 p.m. (EST). The show broadcasts in east Tennesse at 102.9 FM, and worldwide via live online streaming.

The singer songwriter, who was nominated for the International Bluegrass Music Association’s 2012 Songwriter of the Year award, along with her band the Poor Mountain Boys, will be in Knoxville to begin a busy weekend for the troupe.

Ulisse commented;

“We have a big weekend coming up! As we head over to Virginia for two shows we will be stopping off in Knoxville, Tennessee, to play the world famous WDVX Blueplate Special! I played this a few years ago and have wanted to return but it hasn’t worked out with my routing until now.

The show is free and open to the public at Knoxville Visitor’s Centre, 301 S Gay Street, in downtown Knoxville. It starts at 12:00 noon eastern time until 1:00pm.  If you can’t be there in person, you can sit back in a comfy spot and listen online.

We’ll be doing a few tunes off the new Christmas album All The Way To Bethlehem as well as some other songs I hope you will enjoy.”

The show includes a set by the Riverbreaks, an indie rock band based in Washington, DC.
