David Morris caught up with Eric Gibson, one half of the Gibson Brothers, as IBMA week in Raleigh was winding down last month. They talked about songwriting and a loose concept for the brothers’ next album. Eric also shared some reflections on reaching such a pinnacle of success as being named IBMA Entertainers of the Year for the past two years.

He is a life member of IBMA and the DC Bluegrass Union. He and co-writers won the bluegrass category in the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at MerleFest in 2015.
