Ernie Evans cancer benefit scheduled for March 28

Event Details

Ernie EvansFriends of Florida bluegrass entertainer and entrepreneur, Ernie Evans, have scheduled a benefit concert to assist he and his wife Debbie with medical expenses associated with his recent diagnosis for bladder cancer.

The show is scheduled for March 28 at the American Legion Hall in Plymouth, OH. Eleven bands are currently scheduled to appear, including several national touring acts, with an open mic jam session to follow.

Music starts at 1:00 p.m. and will go on un late in the evening. Scheduled at this point are:

  • Paul Bryant & Kentucky Border
  • Harold Hamilton and Southern Tradition
  • Fossil Creek Bluegrass
  • Whitaker Brothers
  • Larry Efaw and the Bluegrass Mountaineers
  • Kenny Stinson and Perfect Tym’n
  • The Kevin Prater Band
  • Caney Creek
  • Travers Chandler
  • Ernie Thacker and Route 23 Reunion
  • Ralph Stanley II

Paul Bryant with Kentucky Border is doing the organizing and management of this event, and anyone seeking further details or wishing to help in some way, should contact him at 330-416-2976 or by email.

If you would like to assist with Ernie’s medical costs, but can’t make the show in March, a medical expenses fund has been established for that purpose.
