Mountain Faith makes it through!

Event Details

Mountain Faith

Congratulations to Mountain Faith Band, who made it through to the next round on America’s Got Talent tonight. They passed the Judge’s Cut Round and will now compete on programs live from Radio City Music Hall in New York city, starting next week.

Their song tonight was a grassed up arrangement of I Believe In A Thing Called Love from British rock band The Darkness.

Mountain Faith wasn’t put through by acclamation, but despite more mocking treatment from Howard Stern – and strong support from Howie Mandel – they were chosen to continue on the show. It’s both a testament to the talent and entertainment potential of this young bluegrass band from western North Carolina, and the ability of good bluegrass music to win over even reluctant fans when given a chance.

Well done Mountain Faith. All of bluegrass is proud of you tonight!
