Friday night with The Kentuckians of Michigan

Event Details

The Kentuckians of Michigan, located in Romulus, Michigan, opened their bluegrass season on Friday night with the debut of the Huron River Band. The band formed from six seasoned musicians having fun jamming together. The band consists of Burl Stevens on dobro, Ralph and Steve Sandifur on guitars, Marvin Webb on mandolin, Tom Arbore on bass, and Tim Jackson on banjo. All of them are members of the Southeast Michigan Bluegrass Music Association. They were joined by 2016 SMBMA Hall of Honor inductee, Bobby Hutch, for a couple of tunes. They were also joined by one of the area’s country pioneers, Powell Conley.

The Kentuckians of Michigan present bluegrass music on Friday nights from September thru May. Support your local music venue!
