Our friend Dave Hollender was at the 2021 FreshGrass festival in North Adams, MA last month, and captured some great photos of Béla Fleck’s My Bluegrass Heart show. Performing with Béla on the show were Sierra Hull on mandolin, Bryan Sutton on guitar, Michael Cleveland on fiddle, Justin Moses on reso-guitar, and March Schatz on bass. Dave also caught Noam Pikelny sitting in with the band, with Justin Moses switching to the five for some triple banjo action.
Dave is a professor at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, who plays both bass and banjo.
