Gospel on the Farm

Gospel on the Farm in Gold Hill, NC, sponsored by The Gospel Plowboys, celebrated its fifth year on Saturday with a new location, Elm Grove Farm. Located under huge shade trees with a gentle breeze and surrounded by a pastoral landscape, the outdoor gospel music festival was a glowing success.

Gospel Plowboys guitarist and lead singer, Michael Jenkins, expressed his gratitude.

“I honestly don’t have the words. All I can say is God is good and He is faithful!!

This was our biggest crowd yet! The weather was perfect, the new location was perfect, the food and vendors were perfect! It was truly an amazing day and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Special thanks to our friends from Eighteen Mile, Carson Peters & Iron Mountain, and Authentic Unlimited. It was an amazing lineup and we had a ton of compliments on the talent that each band shared.

We’ve met a lot of wonderful people out on the road and made countless friends. This year, we were completely blown away by the number of friends who came out to spend the day with us. Folks traveled from all over our home state of North Carolina, and we had several from out of state including Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Maryland, and Alabama, all for Gospel on the Farm!

Special thanks to the friends and co-workers who showed up the day before to help us setup. Your hard work made this year’s festival a success, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

A huge shout out to the Culp family and Elm Grove Farm for being incredible hosts, and going above and beyond to make sure this was a success. We’re also deeply grateful to our special friends, the King family, who played a huge role in making this event possible. And many thanks to Rick and Jeanie Wallace from Silverstone Hams in Mountain City, Tennessee, for sponsoring us.

My hat’s off to the many festival promoters up and down the east coast who do this every year. It’s a big task to put together with a lot of hard work. This was our fifth year and each year I always say, ‘This is it, this is the last one’…so with that being said…. W’’ll see you next year at Elm Grove Farm for Gospel on the Farm 2027!

We’ll be getting the line up together soon, so we hope you’ll make plans to come be with us!”
