You Made It Right video from Larry Stephenson Band

Event Details

Larry Stephenson Band

Turnberry Records and The Larry Stephenson Band have released a music video to accompany their latest single, You Made It Right.

It’s one written by Elizabeth Anderson and John Dillon, and initially recorded by The Ozark Mountain Daredevils in 1974. Stephenson first encountered the song when it was performed by Harvest, a central Virginia bluegrass group back in the ’70s, and he has held on to the idea of cutting it himself all that time.

In the video we see the band in the studio and on the bus, picking and singing their way through this positive song of gratitude, giving the Good Lord a word of thanks for having created such a marvelous world.

Larry sings the lead and plays mandolin, supported by bandmates Derek Vaden on banjo, Jimmy Haynes on guitar, and Matt Wright on bass. Bobby Osborne Jr. appears on the video playing bass.

Give it a spin.

You Made It Right is available from popular download and streaming services online, and to radio programmers via Get It Played.
