Win your very own Mountain Heart concert

Event Details

Would you like to have bluegrass bad boys Mountain Heart over for an intimate house concert – just for you and a select group of family and friends?

Well, if you live within a 75 mile radius of Nashville, the folks at Music City Roots can make that happen. As part of the promotion for the band’s current That Just Happened tour, Mountain Heart is offering a free concert at your home for 25 people sometime in January/February 2011. They’ll even bring the vittles!

The guys have been strong supporters of Nashville’s Music City Roots, a weekly radio show that beams live bluegrass, acoustic and country music across the world via the Internet. MCR is returning the favor, hosting the online contest. To enter, just fill in the contest form online before December 31.

The winner not only gets to host the free concert, they will get the fixin’s as well. Loveless Fried Chicken, Vietti Chili and Blackstone beer will be provided, plus autographed copies of That Just Happened for everyone in the household. And you get to share the concert with fans across the globe via online streaming. Talk about a party!

The MCR crew will film the entire show, and provide the winner with a DVD copy as a keepsake.

And speaking of Music City Roots… tonight’s (12/2) show features a whopping bluegrass lineup. JD Crowe and Jesse McReynolds will both appear with their bands, along with Donna Ulisse and Folk Soul Revival. It airs live from The Loveless Barn in Nashville starting at 8:00 p.m. (EST), with a live video stream available at www.musiccityroots.com.
