Theo & Brenna to Mountain Fever Records

Theo & Brenna

Mountain Fever Records has announced the signing of bluegrass sibling duo, Theo & Brenna, to the label.

Theo and Brenna McMillan grew up in Winchester, KY, as two of twelve brothers and sisters, many of them adopted. Both fell in love with music as youngsters, with Brenna drawn to the banjo and Theo the guitar, and both were bitten by the bluegrass bug at the same time. The two moved to Nashville separately after college, both with a desire to pursue writing and performing their original music together. They formed their band in 2018, with Mary Meyer on mandolin, Maddie Denton on fiddle, and Evan Winsor on bass.

The five of them are competing a new album now, with a Christmas single set for release later this month.

Speaking together, Theo & Brenna say that they are delighted that their new music will be released with Mountain Fever.

“We are excited and honored to be working with the fine folks at Mountain Fever. For our musical vision to be so supported means the world to us. We know we can create meaningful and lasting music with Mountain Fever.

As we approach the holiday season, we hope our upcoming Christmas release will be a bluegrass blessing to all our listeners.”

That single, Work On Christmas, celebrating the folks that have to be on the job during the holidays, is scheduled for release in conjunction with their show on November 20 at Nashville’s Station Inn.
