Sneak peek from new Darin & Brooke CD

Darin & Brooke Aldridge have let loose a song from their upcoming So Much In Between CD, due August 16 from Crossroads.

It was recorded by their road band, with Darin on guitar, Brooke on mandolin, Chris Bryant on banjo, Dwayne Anderson on bass, and Rachel Rene Johnson on fiddle. Guests include Rob Ickes on resonator guitar, and Tom T. Hall and Jerry Salley on vocals. Salley also produced the new project.

Darin tells us that the album contains several of their trademark Gospel cuts and love songs, plus a few “that are a bit different” in his formulation. And that’s a perfect way to describe this sneak peek track, Brooke’s rip-roarin’ version of the Patsy Montana classic A Cowboy’s Sweetheart, yodels and all.

There is a video of them performing the song online as well.
