Mountain Fever Records has announced the signing of Canadian bluegrass band The Slocan Ramblers to the label.
Amanda Cook, President of Mountain Fever Records, looks forward to sharing their future musical endeavors.
‘We’ve admired The Slocan Ramblers for years—their musicianship, their energy, and the way they honor the tradition of bluegrass while pushing it forward. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome them to Mountain Fever and to share the incredible new music they’re creating with fans around the world.”
The band is currently in a rebuilding phase, with founding banjo player and vocalist Frank Evans having recently taken his leave. Fellow founders Adrian Gross on mandolin and Darryl Poulsen on guitar, with Charles James on bass, are moving on without him, and we expect to hear more about new personnel soon.
Cook also shared that new music from The Slocan Ramblers is expected to be released later this year.
Certainly something to keep an eye on.
