Photos from Panhandle Pickin’

We have recently become acquainted with photographer G. Milo Farineau, who is working on a photo book project on music festivals, with an emphasis on bluegrass. He is collaborating with Chester Simpson, an experienced photojournalist whose credits include Rolling Stone and USO.

Milo currently shoots for The Hook, a weekly paper published in Charlottesville, VA. He sent this batch of photos from Panhandle Pickin’, the West Virginia BBQ and Bluegrass Festival which recently concluded.

We look forward to learning more about Milo and Chester’s book, and seeing more of his photographs here on Bluegrass Today.
