Photos from Bluegrass at the Ryman

Event Details

Phil Bankester shared a couple of photos he took in Nashville at Thursday’s Bluegrass Nights At The Ryman concert.

The show featured Sam Bush and his crack band, with an opening performance from The Josh Williams Band.

Phil tells us that Josh ‘n ’em really tore the place up, receiving a number of standing ovations. Of course, that is expected at a Sam Bush show, and he did not disappoint. Bush brought Josh and his band back out for a rousing finale with all hands on deck.

Bankester was in Nashville, along with his whole Bankester Family, for a CD release event on Wednesday at The Station Inn. They were celebrating their latest project, The Bankesters, and were joined on stage by a number of special guests.

I was able to find a few photos from that show as well. Phil and his wife Doreen have a lovely and talented family, as you can see below.
