We heard recently from Gian Luca Naldi, banjo picker with Italian bluegrassers Bononia Grass. The band has been recording in Bologna, working on their second CD release, which they hope to have out sometime this summer.
Luca sent along this video they have put together, highlighting one of the songs that will be included, and serving as an introduction to the band for those that aren’t familiar with them, or their music.
“These days we’re working on the recording of our new CD so we decided to share this video of an original song, written by Paolo Ercoli the dobro player of the band. It’s called Gone For Good and we like it a lot… hope you all do too!!”
Luca tells us that the band is hoping to tour the US in 2011 if the necessary arrangements can be made.
