Here it comes… the long-awaited, often-promised overhaul and redesign of Bluegrass Today is set to be revealed on Thursday, May 21!
Many hours of work by a team of fabulous developers and designers have been brought to bear, along with meetings and conversations among staff to try to address the various suggestions and complaints we have received from readers over the years. We are quite proud of the new site design, the first fully “from the ground up” reconstruction since the site was launched in 2011.
In order to accommodate the switch from the old to the new, we won’t be able to post all day tomorrow (5/20), to give the team at ClockworkWD time to migrate everything over to the new server. Once we have had a chance to check everything over on Thursday morning, we’ll start posting new content again.
All of our usual Wednesday stories will go up on Thursday.
Things will look quite a bit different, but the basic functionality of the site will remain the same. We think it will be much easier on the eyes, and easier to read and navigate, but I won’t spoil the surprise.
Once things are back on Thursday, we’ll post about some of the new and/or different features you’ll see.
Thanks for your patience!
