Nedski and Mojo hit the road

Hot on the heels of their debut CD release, Ned Luberecki and Stephen Mougin (aka Nedski & Mojo) are hitting the road this week. They start today (10/25) at the Mast Farm Inn in North Carolina, with our heroes moving up the east coast all week, finishing on Sunday in Weston, VT.

This effort is a side project for these two veteran grassers, one which gives them a chance to step into the spotlight in a way that their regular gigs do not. Mougin is the guitarist and harmony vocalist with Sam Bush, and he also operates Dark Shadow Recording near Nashville. Luberecki is a bona fide Renaissance Man, serving as banjoist with Chris Jones, teaching at workshops across the US, and hosting programming at Sirius XM’s Bluegrass Junction.

Their CD, Nothing More, features original material the pair have written, recorded in a duet format. Their live show is clever and entertaining, with humor provided by Luberecki’s mildly twisted view of the world.

There will also be a pair of wokshops on this mini-tour: Washington, DC on Wednesday and Boston, MA on Saturday. Catch ’em if you can.
